(1.) Did you believe Tony Blair's 45 minute claim?
No, because I wanted more information as to the basis and detail of this claim;
(2.) Do you believe the invasion of Iraq was legal?
No. International Law is still developing, and it is far from being the sort of "black letter law" that UK Statutes represent, for example. More importantly, this was an action taken against the majority of world politicial opinion. I am very concerned that the Attorney General' s mind changed as to the war's legality, however, and would like his advice published so that we can understand the reasons for his change of mind;
(3.) Do you think the world is a safer place since the invasion & occupation of Iraq?
No;
(4.) Do you support Military Families Against The War's call to bring the British troops home?
I would like the troops home as soon as humanely possible;
(5.) Do you think the Iraqi people have the right to resist the occupation?
If we are bringing democracy to Iraq, then people have the right to disagree and protest about the US/UK etc presence. I don't support violence and terrorist attacks on troops, but it is highly probable that these are not being organised by local people;
(6.) Would you believe Tony Blair if he said he had secret information that Syria or Iran was a threat to Britain?
No;
(7.) Would you support military action against Syria or Iran?
No, unless there was clear and compelling evidence that either state had taken aggressive action against other nations;
(8.) Do you approve of evidence obtained under torture being used in British courts?
No;
(9.) Do you think the USA & Britain have the right to decide who can & can't have weapons of mass destruction?
No;
(10.) Do you think George Bush is a threat to world peace?
I think that the issue goes above and beyond the personality of the US President. If neo-conservatism is to prevail in the White House, then I regard this as a threat to world peace.
